Monthly Packages

· Payment is due at time of registration.
· Registration is taken as first come first serve
· Make ups will be accepted; all makeup lessons must be completed within the next 30 days of missed lesson
· All cancellations must be made within a 12 hour notice-no exceptions, makeups, or refunds will be allowed.

· Lessons must be used by end of each month (with exception to make up lessons)

Please Take Note

All new riders are to wear hard soled shoes (sneakers work well) and long pants, shirt tails are to be tucked in and long hair tied back. Pants must come down to the shoe (carpris/shorts are not allowed) Riders that continue on after the first month are required to purchase and wear to each lesson; Kentucky Jodhpurs, paddock boots, riding helmet, and gloves. A clothing guide is available in the office. 


Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early for your lesson and staying a minimum of 15 minutes after. Riders that arrive late will have that time deducted from their lesson. Riders are not to be left unattended during their lessons without prior permission from their instructor.

The Twin Lakes Riding Academy teaches lessons by appointment only on farm-owned school horses. Private and group lessons are available as well as participation in fun local shows and tournaments.


Twin Lakes Stable’s Instructors are dedicated to creating an atmosphere of learning and responsibility for all students, ensuring a positive and productive introduction to horses.


To get started there is no registration fee or specialized equipment needed.


Twin Lakes encourages everyone from 4 to 94 to come give horseback riding a try!


Twin Lakes Stable owns many seasoned lesson horses to baby-sit the smallest of riders and to challenge the most accomplished of equestrians.

Group Lessons
Group lessons are offered at various times throughout the week. Lessons are 1 hour in length, with 45 minutes on horse. Group lessons are offered for intermediate riders and up. Groups can range from 3 to 10 riders. Group lessons are booked in one hour time slots starting on the hour.

Academy Group
Academy Groups are reserved for riders that are members of the Twin Lakes Academy Team. 

Show Rider Group
Show Rider Groups reserved riders that are members of our Show Team.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are offered for the serious rider at set times throughout the week. Private lessons consist of 30 minutes of on horse time. Private lessons are offered to riders who wish to further advance their horsemanship and push themselves to the next level of learning, Private lessons are booked every half hour on the half hour.

Tiny Tot Lessons
Tiny Tot lessons are offered for children ages 3-5 who are in the beginning stages of riding only. Riders who have progressed past this stage are required to enter our private or group lessons. Lessons will consist of 20 minutes of on horse time and 10 minutes of grooming and off horse care, for a total of 30 minutes. Tiny Tot lessons are a great way to get your young rider confident in the saddle. 

Customer Lesson/Show Horse Lesson
Customer lessons are offered to clients who currently own and have a horse in training with Twin Lakes Stable. Show horse lessons are available on a limited basis. Please speak with your instructor for more details.
